Solid rider with some really good flow and damn that pump track and DJ set up is awesome. If I had a spot where I could just go at it and make it however I wanted it would be very similar to that. You Canadians got it good up there with all that land and the fact that your country is on the up and up with mountain biking so you guys probably don't have to deal with as much track development issues as we do in the U.S.. I can't count how many spots have been torn down out here. That design is sick flowy and ridiculous and Aaron your videos capture the essence of the ride and the uniqueness of each riders style put into each edit! Gotta love it!! Keep it Shredding!!!
Mark is a great rider and a fantastic ambassador for the sport. The pump track in this vid was purpose built this year in a park that Mark was instrumental in creating. The park is In North Saanich, 30 min from Victoria & has a wide variety of jumps and stunts including two pump tracks. We're lucky to have such a committed builder and rider in this area. The fact that there are amazing artist Like Aaron who can let you see what we have is icing on the cake.
We did lots of digging before and after shooting, I put in hours of digging in on a weekly basis myself, so proper trail etiquette is a big deal to me, who ever built these jumps is welcome to come ride my stuff anytime... good job keeping them maintained guys!
Sweet vid. Glad to see more people riding them. Just fix what you wreck and don't change the jumps and we can all ride them for more years to come. The city is well aware of them now too so PLEASE clean up garbage.
Rabey..Your buddies have been working on them. We have yet to see you there punk
FYI those jump are 10+ years old! No problems yet lets keep em going!
rabey101 - we left 'em better than when we got there! There was tons of leaves covering everything when we got there, swept all the jumps and polished them up before we left.
Dont piss and moan about not having jumps like these in Quebec! If you ride a trail, its because someone built it, if you dont have a trail to ride its because you havent built one. All you need is a shovel, slacker.
Haha, we've been building good amounts of good dirt jumps. And guess what? Within a year they are gone. That is why we don't a decent trail. It's easy for you to say that when you do not dirt jump, and it's easy for you to say that when you live in Bromont. I live in laval, where unfortunatly they distroy dirt jumps. We've been digging all summer for some good trails. I do not understand your point when I was only admiring their spot and capacity of getting together and build some good trails.
I build trials sections and freeride trails in the woods around my place and noone bothers them. because I didnt build them in the city!| I live out in the sticks.
Thanx Ryan. Dick, kinda hard to ride when Im working in Alberta all the time..And yea these jumps were built by bmx'rs a long time ago, deffs not taking credit or building them bit I have done my fare share ofte there with tanner touching up shit
It's Dark Storm by The Jezabels. I recognized the band from Way Back Home (which uses A Little Piece), then googled a couple lyrics. Shouldn't have had to do that though...
I saw the pumptrack and was about to ditch the vid but right before i did that i saw the jumps and realized this video is well worth watching, another perfect edit by larock!
